As the principal of the one of most prestigious institution in the south Punjab I am extremely pleased to extend a heartfelt welcome to the in-coming youth who have succeeded in joining our vibrant community of learning at govt. graduate college(w) taunsa, where aspiration meet inspiration. The opportunities of Education among female folks of our country and especially in Southern Punjab have been seriously deficient over the years. However, the inception of Government Graduate college(w) Taunsa is a right step by the Govt. of Punjab. As the saying goes; “You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation.” The challenge ahead, is to develop GGCT into a world class seat of higher learning, where education and research will go hand in hand to equip the young girls of Pakistan with state of the art technologies and innovative skills that will provide them a competitive edge in grabbing job opportunities and leading enterprises of their own to provide jobs for others.
